I made one more blunder this weekend. I was supposed to join my friends for a trip to Cologne. But I took the wrong train, and couldnt reach Hiedelberg in time.I knew that they had already started. So I came back to my hotel room and did a quick plan.
There was a wine fest going on in Bad Durkiem. So I took the tram from Paradeplatz at 12 PM and reached there at about 1:30 PM. Then I started to follow the crowd whereever it went. I could see a lot of restaurants lined along the way to the town center.They were in various different shapes and sizes.There was one in the shape of a barrel ! There were makeshift hotels which served wine directly from the barrels.Lots of people, mostly in their fifties, were singing along their native songs as they tasted wine.In one of these places , there was a dance party and it was amazing to see how the old couples danced to the rythm of the fast music.I had a good time there.I joined some of my friends the following day to Bad Durkhiem again and it was a lot of fun.
