I was going through one of my friend's blogs & saw this post on Turkish food. Incidentally Turkish food has been one of my favourites & my staple diet during my stay in Germany.Turkish cuisine, taken as a whole, is not a homogenous cuisine.It is a fusion of arabic, persian & greek cuisines.
The dishes are usually spicy & served with sauce or yogurt.This is very different from the usually bland continental & European cuisine . Due to this, it has gained wide acceptance in many parts of Europe like Germany, Italy & France. Infact in Germany, the Döner Kebap is more popular than the Hamburgers or sausages.
I am still on the search for a good Turkish restaurant in B'lore :-) .
